Katie Anne

Poem By: EdwardJBradleySr
Poetry

Katie Anne is an inspiring, perfect and fictional young woman.

Divinely beautiful and wonderful in the eyes of a hopelessly smitten young man by whom she is adored and who pines for her. In spirit, mind, emotion and body. For him, she is seemingly unattainable as he is driven by his unquenchable thirst and hunger for her. Though with purity of heart and the best of intentions. Which is to say: "Marriage".

Any similarities seen between the poetic Katie Anne and any other actual young woman, either living or dead, is purely coincidental. View table of contents...

KATIE ANNE

By E. J. T. BRADLEY

Wonderful !

As Is She !

How Perfect Can

One Woman Be ?

Beautiful !

B’yond Belief !

Purloined His Heart!

Just Like A Thief!

Time Or Day,

Can’t Be Told.

When Away !

His Heart She Stole.

Emotions Strong

Besiege His Soul,

Inspiring Poem

And Passion’s Goal.

If His Kiss,

Would She Permit.

Could He Choose Where

First To Place It?

Nectar Sweet,

Would Taste Adore.

Awaits Him At

Her Ev’ry Pore.

Now Must Wait

Another Day,

To Know Her

Flavor And Bouquet.

Womanly !

Femin’Anne !

Most Divine !

Katie Anne !

Yes, it is important for a man to tell the woman he loves that he loves her...and there are so many ways to do that, aren't there?! Let me count the ways...... Annie

Annie:

Thank you for the compliment/s. Once again.

As a woman may "count the ways", her man may have to "calculate the costs". Something for them both to decide. Together.

Sounds like an excellent "write" for you to post.

Specify: "Intended For Men! Primarily!"

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

Ed,

MARVELOUS is all I can say. I love the way your words are so simple yet meaningful. It stuns me.

I would really love if you read and commented my novel "Nirvana" (not the band!) because I really could use such great advice.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the compliment.

Will read your novel. Lengthy narrative is not my strong suit. Usually read such things for information only. Not with an eye to style or for entertainment value for myself. For example: If I think I have need of the knowledge or information. If the writing provides me with the information for which I am looking or is found to be interesting or useful. Then, I'll leave it without thinking about it a great deal or again. This does not make me a good critic of such written work. But I will try.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

I'm the only male to comment!! I thought it pretty much summed it all up for those of us who become infatuated, with 'it' eventually turning into love. Very sweet, it made me smile and think about how i felt when i watched someone from afar.

I remember i ACTUALLY made a mix CD hahHahAHahAHahAH!!!!! So embarrassing when i look back now, but this poem showed me that that is what its all about. How many times do we have to demonstrate our love till they believe it?

Thank you for reading and commenting. Glad you liked it.

It's intended to be about the inner thoughts, emotions and feelings of the man as he focuses on the woman who is his beloved. If he is, inwardly, worthy of her. Most important!

Thank you again.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

Sir,I visualise the ideal woman,as desired by creation,in this poem'Kattie Anne'.

Thank you for reading, commenting and the compliment. You have no idea and,

sadly(for me),
nor does she.

Thank you again!

Happy trails,

Pure joy conveyed in each word and how they are presented. There is this urgency, this new-found ecstacy in the discovery of this young lady-- it feels like the heat and unadulterated eyes of lover yet unknown. Wonderful. 'Can't wait to see what else you've written.

Thank you for reading, commenting and the nice compliment.

Hope you get to hear someone express the same feelings for you some day. From someone for whom you feel the same. When you have become a young adult and and the person, saying them to you, is being both truthful and sincere.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

It's so pleasing to read your poems, and even more so to read them out loud. The word choice and the way the words are put together are very important and you do both so well!

Thank you for reading, commenting and the wonderfully thoughful compliment. It does make a difference when a poem is recited aloud. Prayer is similar in that respect.

How a poem presents, on the page, as well as how it may sound, when read aloud, are the 2 criteria which guide my effort/s. After the choice, meaning and treatment of theme have been chosen.

Again! Thank you!

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

Meaningful, beautifully written with an air of sophistication. I love your style of writing.

Not sure about just how "sophisticated" it may be. My emotions were right up "on my sleeve" while writing it.
