RIOBALD – Love is a many splendored thing. When in love, neither u r in peace nor piece-piece. It is a no-win situation. We have read very many love poems. Robert has been in love with his fiancée, who lives across the world, far far away from him. In his poem “i’ve been thinking about you” he thinks about her all 48-hours (!) This is love – ROBERT STYLE!
-
MONOTONY STRANGE – Joseph Conrad had written a novella “Heart of Darkness” (1899) where Marlow recounts his adventure in Congo to a group of men aboard a ship. FF Coppola’s epic war film “Apocalypse Now” (1979) is about Vietnam War and was based on Conrad’s novella. Emily’s essay “the appropriation of heart of darkness in apocalypse now” studies the two (novella and film). AWE INSPIRING.
-
JRSHAFF – It happens to rare gem of writers. They have unusual experiences before they can produce their work of art. Mortals like us cannot identify with these surreal experiences as we have not undergone them. But this is for real. Jrshaff in his misc work “pushing the glass” has met with a surreal vision where he peers through a glass door but cannot enter it. He looks within and finds… VISIONARY
-
SAM316547 – You know, at times, feelings get bottled up inside us and they find a way out to express themselves. If they remain inside, thoughts get muddled and we face a writer’s block. Once out and put to paper, they turn out to be a reader’s delight. Samantha too has put her feelings in her poem “to be loved”. She is insecure although loved. Being loved means the world to her. LOVELY
RAZZLECOLAYING – When we write anything, the basic idea is to get it understood and read by a reader. Our work is like a cake with rhyming forming the icing on the cake. But rhyming is not everything. Ying in her poem “the poem that never rhymed” expresses her inability to write poetry. And not the one that rhymes. So, she has simply given up on it. EXPRESSIVE
-
VIRGNELSON – Hmm. All vampire stories fans – this is the one for you. Vampire stories have always had a fascinating hold on us. This one is no different. Virg in her book “odd stuff” has a girl Janie, who finds a vampire Vance in her fridge! Mia is suspected for killing Vance. Sven informs Janie about it. And Janie takes a stab at Vance! Oh, me God! Read on.
-
ANDERSONBROTHERS – Well, well. Andersonbrothers – Caleb and Ryan – have been here for sometime with their regaling stuff. In their book “blunt hindrance” Paul had taken Kirsten out on a holiday. He had always loved her. She is now divorced from Dustin, her abuser. But she is brutally murdered by an assassin. Why? Paul goes out in search of the murderers. EXPLOSIVE Suspense
-
BLU227 – We all love ice creams, chocolates, cakes and what not. At times, I wish, I lived in a house made of chocolates, where I gobble all the treats. But this is only a dream. When I read Blu’s poem “mud cake”, my dream came true. She is thinking about a variety of food to satisfy her hunger. And nothing less than a chocolate cake would do. SWEET
-
SEXIIKK – If Robert can write a love ditty can DonnaKaylaKeffer be left behind. Just goes on to show, love touches us all but in a different way. She in her novel “could it be love?” has two girls Lacy and Katie come to café Sonic. They find two guys Zach and Chris there. Katie can’t take her eyes off Chris. Chris finds Katie hot. Fire. Fire. FIRE!
-
AMIRA – SHE IS MY 400th AUTHOR TO WRITE ABOUT. Well, this story may just about steal your hearts. Many of us will identify with this tomboy. I have often wondered why are there only ‘tomboys’ and not ‘jillgirls’. Amira in her short story “lauretta” has a tomboyish girl Lauretta, who is always corrected by her mom. Lauretta hates being girly but she does change and gets married too. SENTIMENTAL
